42% of BBC staff have agreed to relocate their roles to MediaCityUK, which is higher than the corporation expected.

It’s the second round of decision dates for BBC staff affected by the move north.

NHS makes decision on £30m social marketing roster task - BJL, McCann, ICE and more make the list

The NHS in the North West has appointed 19 agencies to handle its all-encompassing social marketing brief for the next three to four years. It is a task that carries a budget of up to £30m and will be fundamentally important in terms of engineering positive social, health and behavioural change across the entire region.

Ben O'Brien, who led "the massive procurement process" for the NHS in his role of associate director of social marketing, spoke to How-Do about which agencies have been chosen and how the sprawling framework will operate.

Public Services Communications Awards 2009 - now open for entries
How-Do is pleased to announce the launch of the North West Public Services Communications Awards 2009. An outstanding panel of individuals comprising some of the region's most successful communications folk have agreed to judge the process. The awards dinner itself will be held on Thursday 12 November at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. The dinner's keynote speaker will be Patrick Butler - editor of SocietyGuardian - arguably the UK's most influential public sector journalist.
Following the announcement on 2 June that How-Do was launching the North West Public Services Communications Awards 2009 - entries can now be submitted online. The awards dinner itself will be held on 12 November at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton where the keynote speaker will be Patrick Butler - editor of SocietyGuardian - arguably the UK's most influential public sector journalist.
