A new television and radio campaign has been launched this morning, in Greater Manchester, to warn of the dangers of fireworks.

The “Let’s Face it...” campaign is described as a graphic portrayal of the consequences of not taking care around Halloween and Bonfire Night.

BBC Radio 5 Live has today released its new weekday schedule which will take effect from the New Year as the station prepares for its relocation to Salford in 2011. All the programmes, with the exception of a new two hour Friday film programme presented by Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode, will be broadcast from Salford.
