How-Do Workshop - Beyond the Brief Print
Monday, 01 December 2008
Once again presented by the acclaimed journalist and trainer Judi Goodwin, this full day workshop starts from the premise that ‘Taking the brief’ is all very well - but that it’s only the start.

Creating and developing ideas that ‘The Media’ will go for is what good PR and Communication is all about. This course will help you think outside the box, see things from the journalist's perspective and show how to dig a little deeper to come up with fresh stories and brand new ideas and angles.

Delegates will improve their understanding of what makes a story work from the journalist's viewpoint. They will be able to explore and develop story opportunities creatively and confidently - and to collect information, conduct interviews and dig for appropriate and useable quotes. They will also learn how to sell in their feature ideas with skill and style.

Who should attend?

PR and communications folk working in the private or public sectors in an in-house/company capacity or within a consultancy.

Due to the demanding nature of the workshop, we are restricting numbers at the workshop to just 10 delegates to enable those attending to gain maximum benefit from the day.
