Specialist visual effects and animation production company, AHD Mi (motion imaging) has completed the title sequence for a new CBeebies show.
Rubber Studios in London commissioned AHD with a brief to create a 30 second opening song for Get Set Go.
It combines live action from the presenters with animation.
“We have been increasingly tasked with animation projects and this latest brief was particularly enjoyable to work on, allowing us to use advanced technology coupled with imaginative styling,” said Tony Hartley-Denton, managing director.
"During our past projects we have been developing a number of tools that provide us with the capability to run multiple 3D packages on the same shots simultaneously - bridging the gap between the modelling, animation and rendering packages,” added Gareth Thatcher, associate director and technical specialist. “These custom built tools again proved invaluable for the CBeebies ident which involved multiple artists and a short turn around." AHD Mi did the 3D modelling and animation. The clip was directed by Rubber Studios’ Chris Gooch and produced by Jules Pye. Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
