She joins after 3 years working in the media departments of Cheshire County Council and Wirral Council.
New PR manager
"In a nutshell, I will be planning and implementing PR campaigns," Worrall told us.
"Yet in the first two weeks I’ve spent half a day on Liverpool Hospital’s roof whilst City boss Richard Maddock abseiled down, I’ve spend a day with McFly on an estate in Hattersley for a Key 103 gig and I’ve got exclusive lines that major celebrities have said on air in to the national papers."
Worrall will be spreading her days across Manchester, Preston and Liverpool
"The workload will definitely be very heavy once I get settled in and everyone starts throwing ideas and stories at me, it will be quite difficult to prioritise areas and make sure I'm giving all of the stations equal attention.
"Making media contacts across the region, and trade and consumer contacts nationally will also be a challenge, but one that I will enjoy."
Asked about how she will prioritise her work when faced with so many different stations:
"It will be difficult [...] as all of the stations have so much content oozing out of them, City Talk in particular, as the content is so diverse and there are some real characters on air, there is just too much to chose from."
