Blakeway North shoot HD documentary for Sky |

Manchester-based Blakeway North has been commissioned by Sky Real Lives to produce a documentary for their Extraordinary Stories strand.
The 60 minute programme is called A Mother Like Alex, shot in HD it tells the story of Alex Bell. The 28-year-old from Manchester became the first single woman to adopt a child with a disability. She went on to adopt 7 more, most of them have Down’s syndrome.
Through a cross-promotion deal with Harper Collins, Sky Real Lives will broadcast the documentary as the book is released.
The two companies will also jointly publicise and market the show and book.
