Liverpool's Bright Moon Films has sold its first production to the BBC.
The 50 minute film, Passport to Liverpool will be shown on Monday 18th August at 8pm on BBC Four. It will appear as part of the channel’s Liverpool on the Box strand. The film was premiered earlier this year at the city’s Philharmonic Hall and it looks into how Liverpool and its identity has been formed. Bright Moon was founded by Roger Appleton, Chris Fay and Bernard McCabe and although they’ve produced programmes for many of the networks, this is the first time they’ve sold a show to the BBC.
