Flix Facilities wins new BBC and Cosgrove Hall projects |

Manchester post production company, Flix Facilities, has won a raft of new projects from the BBC and Cosgrove Hall.
 Chiles New projects include all filmed segments from the North West for the new early evening magazine show, The One Show, presented by Adrian Chiles on BBC1 five days a week.
Leo Casserly, Flix’s MD told How-Do the contract was for six months but he was optimistic it would be extended as the show developed. The BBC commission is the company’s first major work from the BBC.
Separately, the company has won a commission from Panorama for a one off project and a bigger four parter from Liberty Bell for a series entitled “Am I Normal?” For screening on BBC2 later this year.
Flix has also started work on a new series of 52 episodes of Rupert the Bear for long standing client Cosgrove Hall and has recently been commissioned to do a new series of Postman Post.
The company, established 15 years ago by Casserly and Nigel Senior (both ex Cosgrove Hall), now employs 27 staff across two production centres in Manchester.
 'animated' Casserly Richard Pearce, a former BBC staffer, has joined the company as a senior editor.
Flix provides offline and online editing, audio prep and finishing, graphics and CGI.
Casserly is keen for Flix to work with a wide variety of clients. "We specialise in film and TV broadcast” he said “but we do commercials as well, and some corporate work. Basically anyone who needs post production facilities can come to us as a one-stop shop. "The Manchester post production scene is fairly competitive, but we're holding our own."
