Radio station Galaxy will be broadcasting live from the Creamfields festival this weekend over its FM and digital platforms.
Listeners will be able to switch between the two platforms to hear different performances.
The capacity for this year’s festival has been increased to 49,999 – 10% up on last year – and is being held again at the Daresbury Estate in Halton Cheshire. The line-up includes the Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada and Kelis.
Galaxy will be transmitting form the festival from 5pm on the opening day until 1am on 27 August. Mike Cass, brand programme director of Galaxy said: "We always get great feedback regarding our broadcast at Creamfields and we're excited to be able to provide added choice for our listeners. For those who aren't lucky enough to be able to attend, we intend bring as much atmosphere as possible from as many corners of this giant of the summer festival scene."
