BBC Radio 3 has announced more live concerts from this month, with a lengthening of its Performance on 3 slot.
An extra 30 minutes will be added to the flagship show, making it 2hours 15minutes long, to extend live performances and bring more in depth interviews.

30 concerts are planned by the BBC’s orchestra’s, but new partnerships have also been announced with regional groups, including Manchester’s Hallé , which will go out between September and June.
"BBC Radio 3 is the only station to provide so many broadcasts of recitals, concerts and operas, making up over half of our music output.” said Roger Wright, controller of Radio 3.
"With our unique coverage of live music from around the UK, enhanced by the new 'Live at 7' concerts from the BBC's performing groups, Radio 3 continues to offer listeners 'the best seat in the house'."
