Hollyoaks 'axe hovers' as cast cut backs set to begin |

Tabloid reports are suggesting that the cast of Lime Picture’s popular Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks are nervously awaiting decisions to see which of their characters will be culled in an upcoming ‘cleanout’.
The News of the World reported at the weekend that ten characters are set for the chop in a move that producer Lucy Allen is instigating to make the show more gripping.According to an unnamed cast member “everyone's character is under scrutiny”, while another source added: “everyone’s keeping their head down and doing their best in the hope they’ll be saved from the chop."
