Long running youth soap Hollyoaks is set to make its first impact on the New York Film and Video Festival.
Well, rather some of its on and off screen talent is… Cunningham: a budding director Three of the cast and crew of the Lime Pictures produced soap have had their short films, all of which were shot on the programme’s set, selected to appear at the prestigious festival.Actor Matt Littler, Max Cunningham in the show, wrote and directed a fifteen minute short about a family that loses its matriarch. The film is called Kidnap. His piece will be joined in the Big Apple by camera assistant Lee Skelly’s APIP and camera operator Neil Carroll’s For King and Country. All the films will be screened at the festival between 28 February and 6 March. Littler, who has been with the show for a decade, said of the opportunity: "I had an amazing experience directing my film and as a result I will be going on to direct several episodes of Hollyoaks. “It is wonderful that all three films have been selected for the International New York Film and Video Festival and they are testament to the talent at Lime Pictures". www.nyfilmvideo.com/index.html Something to add?
