Global Radio-owned Galaxy has today made the move from on-air to online, with the launch of a new e-zine called Galaxy Life.
Aimed primarily at women aged from 20 to 29, the new digital publication focuses on lifestyle topics, competitions and showbiz interviews. A partnership with website www.beautyandthedirt.co.uk also provides fashion, style and beauty content. It will be published quarterly and distributed to some 340,000 people that have signed up through Galaxy’s website. In a statement yesterday Nicola Thomson, Global’s director of marketing, hailed it as a “brilliant way to interact with our listeners.” Galaxy serves the Manchester area, as well as beaming out to Yorkshire, Birmingham and the North-East of England. www.galaxyfm.co.uk/
