ITV launches new press centre |

Although not strictly a North West only story it’s worth noting that ITV has launched an impressive new press centre that, handily enough, isn’t just open to the press.
The new facility can be found at www.itv.com/presscentre and acts as a one stop shop for anyone that wants to keep abreast of current programming information, or see the broadcaster’s latest corporate news (although a cursory glance didn’t appear to reveal any information regarding their recent fines posted up for public consumption). In a move that keeps pace with the latest corporate press centres, ITV’s facility also boasts video clips in an integrated media player, downloadable audio, a press release repository and RSS feeds. According to a statement on the site the developers are currently working on a comprehensive search tool and the site remains “a work in progress.” It asks users to “please bear with us as we iron out some early glitches.” www.itv.com Something to add?
