The perils of combining live news broadcasting, politicians and online interactive viewer forums were shown off in all their glory last night following the much-hyped UK leaders debate in Manchester.
The offensive posting
Proving the old broadcasting adage that you should 'never work with children, animals or unmoderated online commentary', ITV News encouraged its viewers to get involved with the political debate at its website.
The camera then cut from Mark Austin to a screen-shot of said debate and a rather unflattering comment on David Cameron from a Mr Nick Brett.

Kudos to Austin for swallowing his embarrassment, laughter and anything else that was due to leap out of him.
