Jacobs to join GMG Radio as commercial head |

GMG Radio is preparing to welcome Richard Jacobs on board as its new head of commercial strategy - a position that will see him splitting his time between Manchester and London.
 Brand building at GMG Jacobs, currently MediaCom's head of radio planning and buying, will be joining the business on 16 February, reporting directly to group commercial director Jonathan Gillespie.He will be charged with delivering brand strategy for GMG's portfolio of station networks, as well as manging direct client relationships and trade marketing. Prior to joining MediaCom in 2002 Jacobs enjoyed a two year tenure as head of sponsorship and promotions at EMAP Radio in Manchester.
