BBC Radio Manchester DJ, star of Cold Feet, New Street Law regular and Fat Bob himself John Thomson is set to get a new role in Granada’s Coronation Street.
 Thomson: out on the street soon However, the tabloids have reported that programme bosses are eager to lure him back to Weatherfield for further, more regular appearances next year. Thomson, who shot to fame on the Fast Show, will supposedly play “down-on-his-luck kids’ entertainer Jessie” - a move that is said to have “delighted” those on the Street.
