Lucy Palmer appointed press officer for GMG Radio |

Journalist turned PR Lucy Palmer has joined GMG Radio as press officer for its northern region encompassing Century and Smooth in the North West and Real Radio in Yorkshire and Century North East.
She joins from Staniforth PR in Manchester.

She ultimately became chief reporter under the editorship of John Jeffay and Richard Butt but left the paper to become regional news press officer at the 2002 Commonwealth Games
Following the games, she joined the consumer team at Staniforth working on clients including Marks & Spencer, Nissan and Arla Foods.
Palmer is based in Smooth Radio at Salford Quays.
