Made in Manchester has been commissioned to produce a documentary on Iraq War victim, Ali Abbas.

Commissioned by Radio 4’s Mohit Bakaya, it will be presented by BBC’s Baghdad correspondent Hugh Sykes and go out at Christmas.
"Ali has gone through hell and back but he's a real fighter and has gone on to do some pretty amazing things. Ali is now 17 and lives mainly here in the UK," explained creative director Ashley Byrne says:
"A lot has happened in the five years since his image was beamed across TV screens all around the world and we'll be bringing his story bang up to date through this programme," says Ashley.
