Breakfast presenter and comic Jason Manford is leaving Xfm to spend more time touring and working on his act. He is being replaced by Mike McClean, best known for his work for Channel 4's 'The Big Breakfast' and 'Richard and Judy'.

Mancunian McLean will take over from Manford on 2 June.
McLean said: "I've been away from Manchester for too long and now the boy's back. I'm very excited to be on Xfm especially the breakfast show and can't wait for the early mornings to begin.”
The station is also introducing two new shows which will be broadcast from London across both Xfm Manchester and London. Rick Shaw will present a new show from 10am to 1pm while Jo Good will present a new show from 1pm to 4pm.
Xfm declined to comment as to whether these moves suggested more joint programming at the station.
Matt Whyatt, Xfm Manchester's programme controller, added: "It's a new daytime sound to Xfm Manchester, which will carry on delivering radio presented by people who love playing the best in new music. It's an exciting time and I can't wait for it all to happen."
