North West Bauer stations get rights to Lily Allen concertKey 103’s Mike Toolan will have an interview with the singer, which will be broadcast ahead of the live concert.

It’s the second time in a matter of months that Bauer has used the joint bargaining power of its Big City Network to sign live music deals. Last time it was U2 at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield.

In addition to the Lily Allen gig itself, there will be on air and online promotions, including a dedicated website and branded splash-pages.

“We are delighted to have secured this sought-after opportunity to host this exclusive broadcast,” said Steve King, North West regional managing director.

“Lily Allen is one of the most influential young singer song-writers in the country and this will be a real ‘appointment to listen’ music event for thousands of our listeners.  It underpins our investment in ground-breaking national events, underpinned with the strength of local broadcasting.”

Bauer will also be using a social media campaign to target her fans and new listener groups.
