The BBC’s early evening news programme, North West Tonight, will be officially relaunched on Monday 10 September.
As predicted by How-Do in April, the show will no longer be presented by a sole anchorman in the shape of Gordon Burns. He is to be joined every night by Ranvir Singh.
In addition to the changed line up, it is understood that the set and format will be “refreshed” with a greater emphasis on creating a ‘newsy’ feel with large screen plasma TVs in evidence around the studio.
