Northwest Vision and Media has revealed details of its efforts to bolster the region’s media and digital freelancers with a new personal development programme.
The Northern Advantage is to be launched by the industry support body in January next year. It is being marketed as “a unique business and personal development scheme for the Northwest’s brightest ‘professional’ freelance workforce.” What this entails is a series of free to attend information and networking sessions between January and April, followed by a number of residential training weekends over the summer. These will consist of six workshops for up to 12 freelancers. The idea of the Northern Advantage is to help build contacts, skills and partnerships to support the regional freelance community going forwards. Interested parties can register their interest by contacting the organization at northernadvantage@visionandmedia.co.uk www.visionandmedia.co.uk Something to add?
