Lucy Palmer, GMG Radio’s press officer, has quit the firm to set up a business about as far away from the world of media and marketing as you can conceivably get.
A fluffy thing Palmer is tuning out of the world of Rajar releases and broadcast bulletins to start a life of, in her own words, “fields, fresh air and fluffy things.”The fluffy things in question are other people’s pets, as Palmer’s new concern is a dog-walking and pet-sitting business. Named Furry Feet Pet Care – a site www.furryfeetpetcare.co.uk will go live over the course of the next month – Palmer hopes to look after all manner of pets and admits to be being “super-excited” but “mildly terrified.” Publicity for the GMG stations in the North West will now be handled out of London by Malcolm Packer. We at How-Do hope you find this story a little more relevant than the last one relating to “fluffy things” that we ran. Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
