Peter Kay will be playing his own mother in the new series of Roary the Racing Car, which hits Channel 5 screens next Monday.

The mother of Chris (also Kay) is a karaoke fanatic and in the first programme, the 2 characters will perform a duet.
The Bafta-nominated show has now been sold to more than 110 countries.
Kay’s previous female incarnation, Geraldine King, proved a runaway hit, with a top 10 song.
