Despite the odd How-Doer getting tired of the Bolton funny man, it appears as though Peter Kay is still being courted by the powers that be in the national broadcasting fraternity.
Fresh from the release of his latest Children in Need charity single (not to mention his new website from Manchester's Creative Spark), Kay has reportedly been signed up to host the 30th outing of the Brit Awards. Kay The news reaches Kay's fan base courtesy of an exclusive in The Sun, which quotes a source as explaining:"Peter was the clear first choice, and everything has now been agreed. "It's a special Brits because it's the 30th anniversary, so we needed a big name. "There's no-one with a better pedigree or a better style of delivery which appeals to all ages." Kay, who is also appearing in next month's Royal Variety Performance on ITV1, will now be following in the footsteps of such legendary presenters as Mick Fleetwood and Samantha Fox. The ceremony is set to take place in February. Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
