PHD North are helping XFM tap into radio listeners who are getting the radio station on their mobile phones.
XFM The month-long campaign will run on the Metrolink and phone kiosks. It follows figures from RAJAR that almost half their audience listen via their mobiles. The design has been done by Manchester’s Love Creative and the brief was to position the station as an antidote to mainstream pop music. The campaign coincides with the arrival of breakfast show presenter Mike McClean who’s taking over from Jason Manford. XFM Manchester has been through a difficult time of late, but insiders believe it’s now moving in the right direction, particularly with two nominations in the Commercial Radio awards taking place today (July 7th).
