Premiere for two Liverpool films |

Two feature films part funded by Northwest Vision and Media are to receive their world premieres in Liverpool.
 Salvage Salvage and Kicks were funded via the Digital Departures scheme, in collaboration with Liverpool 08, BBC Films and the UK Film Council. Salvage is directed by Lawrence Gough, written by Colin O’Donnell and produced by Julie Lau. Neve McIntosh, Shaun Dooley and Dean Andrews lead the British cast.
The storyline concerns a storage container with mysterious contents, which washes ashore, the inhabitants of the quiet cul-de-sac are quarantined by the military and urged to stay indoors. The premiere will take place at FACT at the end of November. Kicks is written by Leigh Campbell and directed by Lindy Heymann, it tells the story of a couple of teenage girls who have a crush on a Liverpool footballer. Something to add?
