You would have thought that the attraction of pop princess Estelle heading over to your house might be enough to keep you at home on a Friday evening… not so for 17 year old Charlotte Walsh.
However, when Walsh’s turn came last Friday she was boarding a plane to Australia to take part in a netball tournament - a prior engagement that even Estelle’s arrival couldn’t upset.
Despite Walsh’s no show the show itself went on, with the singer playing a set to the remaining resident’s of Sale’s Lynn Avenue. It was also transmitted live to Key 103’s listeners ‘on the ground’.
