The build-up to the Ricky Hatton chatshow has just stepped up a (commercial) division, with the news that drinks brand WKD has entered the ring as headline sponsor.
His ‘Ricky Speaks’ show, which is filmed in Manchester with live links to Las Vegas, will now have WKD ad break bumpers and be supported by online activity and a Nuts magazine tie-in.
In addition WKD will be inviting a viewer and one friend to meet Hatton each week, while also showcasing exclusive content with Hatton on its brand website.
A spokesperson for Turner has said that Hatton is “the perfect fit” for its audience, and WKD obviously concurs.
