A kind reader has provided us with a copy of the fateful tape which led to Simon O’Brien’s resignation from BBC Radio Merseyside earlier this week.
The 15 or seconds of live action can be heard here if you are able to play MP3 format…….look out for the gobsmacked presenter trying to follow the trailer.
Our kind reader however, setting aside any sense of humour – or mischief – doesn’t appear to have been a fan of O’Brien’s.
“He was not popular among staff at Radio Merseyside, they are glad to see the back of him. A complete amateur who did the station's credibility no good at all. The programme sounds far better without him.”
