The X Factor is touching down in Manchester next month with a new live format and (no doubt) the same barbed comments from a judging panel that features Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh.
Cowell: 'ear in Manchester Manchester Central will be the venue for the new format of X Factor Live auditions, whereby hopefuls get to strut their stuff in front of an audience of 1,300 members of the public, as well as Cowell and Co.Taking place from 3 - 5 July in the building's Exchange Hall, the live format has been introduced as a means of giving the aspiring stars an added boost through greater public support. Further auditions will be held throughout the country. Lesley Tomlinson, chief executive of Manchester Central, commented: "Music is a significant part of the venue’s past and with the The X Factor live auditions and more concerts planned for December it is set to be a part of our future as well. "It is very exciting for us and the whole team is buzzing with excitement.” Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
