Fox Searchlight has released the trailer for Danny Boyle’s new movie, 127 Hours.
Reports suggest it will be a very tense return to the big screen for the Oscar-winning (and Lancashire born and bred) Boyle, with an hour of the film having no dialogue whatsoever.
It tells the true story of Aron Ralston, who's played by James Franco. The US mountaineer was trapped by a boulder in the Utah mountains in 2003. He was stuck there for, as you probably guessed, 127 hours.
Whether the next bit is a spoiler depends on whether you read the press at the time, but...... Eventually he resorted to amputating his own arm with a pocket knife, before clambering down the cliff and hiking 8 miles to safety.
The film sees Boyle reunited with Slumdog Millionaire screenwriter, Simon Beaufoy and it will have its European premiere at the BFI London Film Festival.
It opens to the public on November 5th.

This has caused as much concern as 2 sugars in a tea shop has't it? Pointless press release.
