Venture capital firm Atomico is looking to target global business leaders through a new mobile site designed by Manchester’s theEword.Atomico, a technology investment vehicle founded in 2006 by Niklas Zennstrom, a co-founder of Skype, entrusted theEword with creating a smartphone portal that would offer users business information, events and social media integration.

In addition, the team overhauled Atomico’s existing website, introducing a custom CMS to allow easier updating and new navigation options.

Tom Glass, creative director of theEword, said of the project: "A mobile site is such a good way to connect with business leaders, many of whom prefer using smartphones to desktops and laptops.

“We worked hard to ensure the Atomico mobile site is intuitive and quick to load, and we're delighted that our client is so pleased with the final result."
