Sale-based AWA has revealed to How-Do that it is launching a dedicated digital communications company as part of its ListenCreateDeliver group proposition.

The agency, named MadeWith, officially opens with a launch event at Manchester Cathedral on 26 February.

The six-strong company is being headed by managing director, Nina Mack, previously MD of Mitooshi, the Stretford-based 3D visualisation company.

It has already secured stand-alone work from the plumbing products distributor, Wolseley, as well as project work from existing AWA clients, including Franke UK and Simply Yours.

Commenting on the launch, Mack said: “AWA has offered online marketing services for some years but the launch of a new standalone company reflects the increasing levels of digital expertise being demanded by clients.

“We’ve put together a great team of developers, designers and project managers and we are already looking for further recruits.”

Bryan Gray, chairman of MediaCityUK developers Peel Media and also the current chairman of the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) will headline the company’s launch event.

Speaking of his involvement with the launch, Gray commented: “In the current economic situation it is clear that businesses will increasingly demand marketing that is both better targeted and more responsive to their clients' needs.

“MadeWith is a timely and strategic response, combining market awareness and technological know-how that will boost both AWA's revenues, and that of their clients.”

MadeWith is part of the ListenCreateDeliver group of companies that also includes AWA, Rattle PR and Go Creative Design
