Betfred cashes in with theEword

Betfred.com has appointed theEword to handle its pay-per-click (PPC) account.

The Manchester-based agency will be developing a range of PPC marketing services for 5 product teams within Betfred.com, to drive traffic to its online and mobile sites and increase conversion rates.

"theEword’s personal approach and thorough understanding of our business made them really stand out in the pitching process. We wanted the winning agency to deliver a truly individual service, and become an integral part of Betfred.com. theEword fits the bill perfectly, which is why we are so confident they can help us achieve our business objectives,” explained Rakesh Chablani, head of marketing of Betfred.com.

Betfred.com is owned by Petfre in Gibraltar which is responsible for operating the Betfred brand online.

"theEword has extensive experience of working within the most challenging sectors, so it’s fantastic to be able to expand our portfolio of gaming clients with one of the leading players in the field. We're very excited about working with Betfred.com and putting our plans into action,” added Al Mackin, managing director of theEword.

Betfred, which has its headquarters in Warrington recently won the race to buy the Tote in a deal worth £265m.
