Hogan Burrows of animation specialist Mocapone has come up with the winning design of The Sharp Project’s inaugural Christmas card competition.
The east Manchester media facility received more than 80 entries, for the contest which had a £500 top prize, and seven made it onto the short list.
Judges included Sharp Project’s director Sue Woodward, Alistair Weir of site's architect PRP and How-Do’s publishing director Ben Waterhouse.
Burrows picked up the prize after a tie break in which the winner was decided by tenant vote. The runners-up were Warren MacKenzie and Nick Entwistle of NE Design whose entries are shown here.
Burrows, whose business is based at the Sharp Project, plans to buy an iPad2 with his winnings.
Centre manager Rose Marley said: "We’re so proud of our first ever Christmas card which will be sent to our whole database next week. The level of interest suggests this was a worthwhile exercise for all involved so we’ll be planning some further SharpFutures activity for the next year."
