Macclesfield’s Context PR has been appointed by car sales and leasing website www.buyyourcar.co.uk to raise awareness of its proposition in both consumer and trade circles.
Context: in the driving seat
The site currently receives over 20,000 visitors a day but is looking to up the ante by appealing directly to consumers, as well as dealers and lease hire organisations.

Explaining Context’s role in this, Buyyourcar.co.uk’s marketing manager Daniel Phillips said: “The credit crunch means that consumers are now looking for the best purchase price possible and dealers want more business opportunities - we provide both, but we need to ensure buyers and sellers are aware of our offering.

“This is where Context will help – their experience in promoting other online businesses is invaluable and we look forward to seeing the benefits they can bring for us.”

Context will now be forging ahead with an ‘ePR’ campaign to target online news sources and blogs to help build organic links to BuyYourCar.co.uk and improve search engine optimisation.

The agency will also be pushing the site through off-line channels.
