Chester and District Housing Trust (CDHT)’s new website has gone live today to cope with increased traffic.
Its in-house team worked with Odyssey Interactive in Altrincham on the redesign after visitor numbers increased by 50% over the last year.
Following 3 months of consultation, new features include everything from videos on installing kitchens to Benefits checkers and personal introduction videos on every page.
Customers can also access their rent accounts and leave feedback.
“What we have achieved is adding a third dimension for visitors to the website. It provides a much more personalised experience and also helps anyone who is visually impaired,” said Paul Skelland, CDHT's assistant director of information systems.
“As our chief executive John Denny says on the site, it won’t replace a face to face meeting, but we can be open 24 hours a day here, 7 days a week.”
CDHT is seeking feedback on the site with a prize draw. (How-Do steps away, fearing the blue touch paper has been lit). Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
