Following the ending of its relationship with digital agency i-level, the Co-operative Financial Services (CFS) has tasked London agency Oomph with managing its online media buying and planning on a temporary basis.
How-Do reported yesterday that a change was imminent.
Bowker The CFS’ brands include the insurance division, the bank and the online/telephone bank Smile.
The CFS is planning a major review of its overall digital activities later in the year but Duncan Bowker of the CFS would not comment on when exactly this would happen.
Bowker was also not willing to disclose the value of the business. He told How-Do he wasn’t aware of the involvement of any regional agencies prior to awarding the interim contract to Oopmh but he said that the CFS has a policy of awarding work to whichever agencies they feel will deliver most effectively – be they in London or the regions.
Oomph has previously worked with the CFS on digital activities.
