North West agencies Code Computerlove and Latitude have been beaten to the HMV search engine optimisation account by OMD UK.
The two pitched for the business, alongside OMD and iCrossing, earlier this year, but eventually lost out to the Omnicom-owned agency, which also handles the media brief for HMV’s sister operation Waterstone’s. The new task will revolve around pushing the retailer’s online store further up any searches focusing on music, films and other entertainment goods. Code’s position as HMV’s retained digital agency of choice is unaffected by the decision. www.hmv.co.uk www.computerlove.co.uk Something to add? Then leave a comment below or email us now.
