Code Computerlove has taken the wraps off of the new website for train operator TransPennine Express.
The new site Code has been working with the client since April 2007 and the agency’s latest project continues their drive to engage with train customers and push further ticket sales online.Vickie Tennant, e-commerce manager at First TransPennine Express, noted that online was “at the heart of” the firm’s business plans, and explained: “The new site is much more customer focused, with detailed guides on our main destinations and prominence given throughout to key information such as timetables, live travel news and any journey disruption updates. “We’re looking forward to the next phase which will see the site develop still further in a number of innovative and exciting ways.” Code’s earlier work with TransPennine apparently resulted in a 103% increase in online ticket sales – a statistic that promoted agency MD Tony Foggett to add: “It has been rewarding to witness the role digital has played in the development of the business.” He said the new site was “informative, simple to use and was developed with the needs of the traveller firmly in mind.” www.tpexpress.co.uk www.codecomputerlove.com Something to add?
