Animation company, Cosgrove Hall, has unveiled a brand new web site courtesy of agency Creative Lynx.
Cosgrove Hall claims to be Europe’s largest animation company.
It was founded in 1976 by Brian Cosgrove and Mark Hall and operates from a 25,000 sq ft complex in Chorlton, south Manchester.
The company is known internationally for a number of its series including the classics BFG, DangerMouse, Postman Pat and Count Duckula as well as more recent kids’ favourites such as Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car. Creative Lynx has ‘re-homed’ these shows for the web site.
The Manchester agency won the business earlier this year in competition with two other undisclosed agencies.
Anthony Utley, managing director of Cosgrove Hall said: “We made a unanimous decision to appoint Creative Lynx after the pitch process. They had really taken the time to understand us and how to reflect that in our website.
"Since appointing them, the designers there have worked really well with our own creative team to get the site finalised and show us off in the best possible light. We’re thrilled with the finished result which does just that.”
The site has been designed to appeal to a range of audiences and users.
Older visitors can ‘relive’ their childhood through video clips of classic shows and film stills while younger visitors can watch pilot episodes of the latest shows together with all promotional and merchandising material.
