Rhind: not going to Oman
Although this may sound like the premise for an international situation comedy of misunderstandings, it’s actually a testament both to the power of communications and to the importance of word of mouth recommendations.

The agency in question is Manchester’s CTI Support Network, which has been taken on to rebuild the web presence for Omanbay, otherwise referred to as the Arabic eBay.

CTI picked up the task after being recommended to Omanbay by two separate UK agencies that thought they’d be perfect for the job.

The team will now begin work on the task next month, utilising their SEO and web 2.0 talents to attract buyers and sellers from across the entire Gulf region.

Agency MD Nick Rhind said of the win: “Unfortunately I will not get to fly out to Oman, but the serious point is we can deliver remotely, irrespective of client location.”

The site will be available to users in both English and Arabic.
