The Manchester e-commerce agency donated its time and skills for free to help the charity.
“The new site has made a tremendous difference in a very short time. It not only enthuses and attracts new supporters but also invigorates the whole charity,” said Claire O’Connell one of the volunteer organisers at Lifeshare.
“The website really enables us to significantly raise our profile, something which we were not doing before. We are looking forward to having a linking strategy with Lifeshare’s supporters and friends online and well as developing the Lifeshare Facebook Group.”
It offers practical assistance, support and information to homeless and disadvantaged people in Manchester and Salford.
The new website has been designed to attract interest and volunteers and uses a Drupal-based platform to enable the charity to develop revenue streams and expand its online presence.
“Our aim is to give Lifeshare an online resource that will help their voice be heard amongst the bigger charities that have more resources,” added Nick Rhind managing director of CTI Support Network.
