Manchester's Code Computerlove has refreshed the website for domestic abuse charity Refuge and launched a new campaign microsite with the backing of high profile celebrity supporters.
Code, which has a history of assisting Refuge, has released the www.fourwaystospeakout.com microsite to bolster the Speak Out Against Domestic Violence campaign that launched yesterday. The Four Ways site The initiative focuses on four ways that lives can be saved and pushes the partnership between cosmetics firm Avon and the charity. It also features messages of support from Dame Helen Mirren, Patrick Stewart OBE, Fiona Bruce and Chris Rea.In addition to the new site Code has also redesigned www.refuge.org.uk to better illustrate how people can support the charity's cause, as well as maintaining clear sign posting to women in search of help and support. Lisa King, director of communications for Refuge, said of the Four Ways microsite: “It gives us a way in which we can communicate our campaign messages in a distinct and separate way from our main website. "One of the key elements to this campaign is our online petition and the microsite is the key driver for this being a success.” The campaign is being supported with banner advertising, digital channel activity and a tie up with The Sun newspaper. www.codecomputerlove.com Something to add?
