Fast Web sells 4thegame to Sportech for 600K | Print |  Email to a friend

Sportech PLC has bought football website, 4thegame.com from Fast Web Media.

Under the terms of the deal, Fast Web will continue to provide operation and creative skills for the site.

4thegame has 700,000 unique monthly users and it’s seen as a strategic purchase for the group which already has the online presence of The New Football Pools.

"Given 4thegame.com’s heritage and track record of nurturing their football audience, I believe that the acquisition will provide Sportech with extensive online possibilities," said Will Muirhead, managing director of Football Pools Online.

"We look forward to working with Fast Web Media to develop the site and grow the audience internationally."
 
Fast Web Media’s chief executive, Michael Flynn added: "As a business, we are very excited to be working with a company with the calibre of Sportech.

"They have some great plans for the development and expansion of 4thegame.com which will serve to build upon the current offering, and provide all its growing online community with new and classic football prediction games."
