Gibbens moves to UKFast to head sales

UKFast has appointed a new head of sales as it looks to achieve MD Lawrence Jones’ turnover target of £19m by next year.

UKFast, which recently signed a deal with UK Grid, is looking to accelerate its growth rate and take advantage of its strong reputation in the marketplace.

To help fight on this front Andrew Gibbens has been brought in from a similar position at Uxbridge’s Rackspace, which now turns over in the region of £60m.

His experience in helping to grow Rackspace’s business was said to be instrumental in him getting the call to move to UKFast’s Manchester base.
