SEO firm theEword has announced that it has doubled in size over the space of the last year - from seven members of staff to 15 - and has just taken on two online marketing assistants through the Manchester Masters scheme.

SEO firm theEword has announced that it has doubled in size over the space of the last year - from seven members of staff to 15 - and has just taken on two online marketing assistants through the Manchester Masters scheme.Emily McCleave and Rick Roberts will be charged with improving working processes within the marketing team and providing account management support.

McCleave will also be working on a social media brief for client Hubbub, the new regional marketing conference, from June onwards.

Al Mackin, who founded the firm in 2006, said of the developments: "During an exciting period of exceptional growth, the increase in staff numbers has allowed us to launch new products and services for our clients.

"The challenge of expanding a team has been hugely rewarding for the directors and senior staffers at theEword, and it has allowed us to reposition the business so that we can expand further in 2010."
