One of the region's highest profile digital agencies has lost one of its principal signings from the past year, with the news that Code Computerlove's executive creative director Wes Hogg has left the business.

One of the region's highest profile digital agencies has lost one its principal signings from the past year, with the news that Code Computerlove's executive creative director Wes Hogg has left the business.
Hogg
Hogg joined the firm from McCann Erickson Mancheser in January this year - he was digital creative director at the Bonis Hall outfit - filling a berth that had long stood vacant at the agency.

His role saw him sitting within a senior structure that included founder and creative partner Wini Tse and three group creative directors.

Hogg's departure from Code is said to be by mutual agreement and it is not currently known whether he has a new position to move into.

In a statement from the agency Code's CEO Tony Foggett said: "It is with regret that we've come to a mutual decision with Wes not to continue his role as executive creative director.

"It is unfortunate, he is a great guy and I wish him all the best with his career in the future."

Foggett added: “We will now resume our search for a creative director for the business.

"It’s incredibly difficult to find senior creatives, at this level, outside of London with the experience that’s right for the digital sector; but I am hopeful, as there can’t be many opportunities in the region like this, to lead a team with so much talent and potential within a business and sector that is thriving in the down turn.”
